Nikon released Wireless Transmitter Utility 1.5.0 software version. The Wireless Transmitter Utility is for photographers who use the Communication Unit UT-1 ($374.95), the Wireless Transmitter WT-4 ($749), WT-5 ($559) or the Ethernet feature built into the D4 and D4s cameras.
While the WT-4 Setup Utility was dedicated software for the WT-4, this software can be used with a broader range of hardware, including the WT-4 and WT-5, so the name has been changed from WT-4 Setup Utility to Wireless Transmitter Utility.

Modifications that apply to both the Windows and Macintosh versions
- Support for the D4S has been added.
Additional modifications to the Windows version
- Support for 64- and 32-bit versions of Windows 8.1, Windows 8.1 Pro, and Microsoft Windows 8.1 Enterprise has been added.
Additional modifications to the Macintosh version
- Support for OS X version 10.9.1 has been added.
- Mac OS X version 10.6.8 is no longer supported.
