Canon MR-14EX II Macro Ring Lite Flash Announced

Canon has expanded its EOS system with a new Macro Ring Lite MR-14EX II flash. Canon MR-14EX II Macro Ring Lite Flash is designed for use with a Macro lens for close-up photography and compatible with Canon’s complete range of EOS digital SLR cameras.

The unit’s two separate flash tubes can be controlled independently. In addition, an improved body design includes a new one-touch lock lever, making it quick and simple to attach the flash to your camera.

An illuminated dot-matrix LCD screen lets you make adjustments to the flash in both bright- and low-light situations. The MR-14EX II has 12 custom functions, and supports wireless E-TTL when linked with one or more Speedlite 600EX-RT flashes.

Canon’s new Canon MR-14EX II Macro Ring Light can be pre-ordered for $549 at Adorama.
