Nikon D3300 and New Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G DX VR II Lens Coming at CES 2014

Nikon is rumored to announce the new entry-level Nikon D3300 DSLR camera at CES 2014 show. Nikon D3300 is coming with a new Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G DX VRII lens.

We all know Nikon concentrate on the entry-level DSLR cameras and they’ve already upgraded the D5200 to D5300. The Nikon D3300 will be the successor of the D3200 which has announced back in 2012.  There is no info about the specs and price of the upcoming D3300. See here for the leaked image of D3300.

The new AF-S DX Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR II lens will be significantly smaller and lighter (less then 200g) when compared to the current Nikon 18-55mm kit. This lens probably be the new kit for the D3300 camera.  It will feature a new collapsable barrel and 7-blade rounded aperture. (as seen on some 1 Nikkor lenses)
