New SD Cards Can Record 4K Videos

The SD Association has announced a new Ultra High Speed Class 3 SD card format which is capable of supporting 4K video recording. Below you can see the example of the new SD card format capable of 4K video recording.

New SD card format is able to recording data at 30MBs, which is enough to handle 4K videos.  A new Ultra High Speed (UHS) Speed Class 3 (U3) symbol will indicate products capable of recording 4K2K video and will operate exclusively on SDXC UHS-I and UHS-II memory cards and devices and SDHC UHS-I and UHS-II memory cards and devices.
