Fujifilm has released a new firmware updates for many of its X-mount lenses. The new Fuji firmware update for lenses offer full compatibility with the recently announced X-E2 camera.
The new firmware upgrade allow the lenses to work properly with the camera’s phase detection AF and, for XF optics, its Lens Modulation Optimizer function.

The Fujinon XF 60mmF2.4 R Macro, XF 55-200mmF3.5-4.8 R LM OIS, XF 35mmF1.4 R, XF 18-55mmF2.8-4 R LM OIS and XF 14mmF2.8 R also benefit from this enhancement.

Fujifilm X-E2 mirrorless camera body only price is $999.95, and Fuji X-E2 camera with XF 18-55mm lens price is $1,399.95. Fujifilm X-E2 will start shipping on November 15, 2013.
