Sigma is to announce a new lens called Sigma 24-70mm f/2 DG OS HSM for full frame cameras. First image of the Sigma 24-70mm f/2 DG OS HSM lens leaked as the picture of the lens shows up on fotospekter.si.
Sigma 24-70mm f/2 DG OS HSM lens for full frame cameras will be the world’s first 24-70mm standard zoom lens offers f/2 aperture. This is much faster than Canon & Nikon & Sony 24-70mm f/2.8 lens models.
The lens is expected to be released next year during the 2014 Photokina show in Germany. Sigma 24-70mm f/2 DG OS HSM lens for full frame cameras will be priced below the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM zoom lens which is currently priced $2,299 at Amazon.
We couldn’t identify the Sigma 24-70mm f/2 DG OS HSM lens but if so it will be in the Art series too.
