Voigtländer Nokton 42.5mm f/0.95 Lens Price and Release Date

Cosina has announced the release date and price of the Voigtländer Nokton 42.5mm f/0.95 lens for Micro Four Thirds cameras. The new Voigtländer Nokton 42.5mm f/0.95 lens will be available in August, 2013 and will have a price of 123,900 yen which is around $1,270.

Voigtländer Nokton 42.5mm f/0.95 is a ultra-fast short telephoto “portrait” lens is for Micro Four Thirds cameras only. The lens will provide an 85mm f/1.9 35mm equivalent  on full frame in terms of angle of view, depth of field control, and background blur. It has a 10-bladed diaphragm, and features manual focus and aperture operation – the latter can be made clickless for movie recording.
