Panasonic Lumix G9 II to Cost £1,699, Full Specs Leaked

Here are the full leaked specifications and pictures of the Panasonic LUMIX G9 II camera ahead of the official announcement. As previously reported, the new Panasonic LUMIX G9 II camera will have a new MFT sensor with a resolution of 25.2MP and will be equipped with phase AF on the sensor.

Along with the LUMIX G9 II camera, on September 13, Panasonic will also announce two revised Leica DG Vario-Elmarit zoom lenses; Leica DG Vario-Elmarit 35-100mm f/2.8 Power O.I.S and Leica DG Vario-Elmarit 100-400mm f/4.0-6.3 II ASPH Power O.I.S. – replacement for the current model (it will now work with a teleconverter and achieves an image scale of 1:2).

All new products will start shipping in November 2023. The Panasonic G9 price is around $899 for body-only. However the camera was listed as discontinued in Japan. Check availability at B&HPhoto.

This camera will allow you to film in 5.7K 60/50p 10bit, in 4:2:2 10bit in 4k at 60p and in Apple ProRes 5.7K and ALL-Intra via USB in SSD, in order to offer you great freedom in your post-production. This Panasonic Lumix Mark II will allow you to film in SlowMotion 4K at 120p and 10bit, but also an anamorphic mode in 5.8K at 30p, for videos with an exceptional cinema rendering.

Concerning the photo part of this device, this Lumix G9 II allows you to capture up to 75 images per second in AFS and 60 images per second in AFC, with a buffer of 200 images.
