Samyang AF 45mm f/1.8 FE lens for Sony E-mount Announced
Samyang AF 45mm f/1.8 FE lens for Sony E-mount now officially announced. Designed for Sony E-Mount full frame mirrorless cameras the Samyang AF 45mm f/1.8 FE lens is the newest compact and affordable glass with a price tag of $399.
A normal-length prime, this 45mm lens is designed for Sony’s full frame E-mount cameras, and is also compatible with APS-c models where it will provide a 67.5mm equivalent focal length. A simple but effective lens, the Rokinon 45mm offers a relatively fast f/1.8 maximum aperture to balance size and speed as it manages to weigh just 5.7 oz and measure 2.2″ long. It uses aspherical and extra-low dispersion elements to minimize various aberrations and an Ultra Multi-Coating reduces flare and ghosting. Additionally, it can focus as close as 1.5′ and has a 9-bladed circular aperture for smooth bokeh.
