Nikon Z-Noct-Nikkor 58mm f/0.95 Lens Coming in January 2019?
Nikon has serious plans for the next three years of Z-mount lenses. According to the Nikon Z-Nikkor lens roadmap, they will release six lenses in 2019, six more in 2020 and eight in 2021. This will make the lineup a total of 20 lenses for Nikon Z-system.
The most exciting one is sure the NIKKOR Z 58mm f/0.95 S NOCT lens which the company claims will have the ‘highest rendering performance’ and ‘flawless transitions’ between in- and out-of-focus areas, and will be manual focus only. It will use ultra-high refractive index aspherical elements, a new ARNEO anti-reflection coating and its physical design will feature a small display panel that will display aperture, focal length and depth-of-field.
