Sony FE 400mm f/2.8 G Master OSS Telephoto Development Announced

Sony has announced development of the new FE 400mm f/2.8 G Master OSS lens for Sony full-frame E mount cameras.

The release date of the bright telephoto prime lens will be in Summer 2018. The lens will give a 600mm equivalent, in 35mm equivalent terms, when used on Sony’s APS-C cameras such as the Sony A6500.

Sony FE 400mm f/2.8 G Master OSS lens will be compatible with Sony FE 1.4X and 2X Teleconverters. Specs and pricing to be announced later. See the A7R Mark III and FE 24-105 F/4 announcements.
