Canon PowerShot G1 X Mark III camera to be announced soon

Canon officially registered the name of the upcoming PowerShot G1 X Mark III camera at overseas certification organizations.

This registration means that the Canon G-series compact series back on track and still have a future ahead. On the other hand this also means the camera will feature WiFi.

The Canon PowerShot G1 X Mark III camera will replace the current PowerShot G1 X Mark II model which is priced for $649. It is expected to be announced along with Canon EOS M100 mirrorless camera in the next few days.
