By on

Panasonic is allegedly working on more MFT zoom lenses. Three new Leica DG f/2.8-4.0 lenses for MFT cameras are expected to arrive in 2017.

It is said that the company will put a lot more effort into its lens systems, most likely on the zoom models. The most important thing is that the all three models will have a aperture range between f/2.8 and f/4.

On the other hand the Panasonic GH5 release date is scheduled for early January. Even the text is now removed, B&H had a listing that the GH5 pre-orders will start at 1 pm on January 4th, 2017. The hybrid mirrorless camera will be the first to shoot 4K/60p and 10bit 4:2:2 internally with DCI 4K video recording at up to 60 fps.
