Ricoh GR II “Silver Edition” Camera Officially Announced

Ricoh Imaging has officially announced the Ricoh GR II Silver Edition camera and a new macro conversion lens GM-1 for the GR/GR II models.

The new Ricoh GR II silver edition camera will be marketed only 3,200 units worldwide. US price of the camera will most likely be $699. Shipping will start on March 18th.

Ricoh Imaging Unveils GR II Silver Edition Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of Ricoh Company, Ltd.

This exclusive package consists of a silver-color edition of the GR II premium digital compact camera and an exclusively designed camera case.

The GR II is the smallest premium digital compact camera. It offers a digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) image quality with Wi-Fi and Near Field Communication (NFC) functionality. The 18.3mm F2.8 lens is a compact, high-performance GR lens with a focal length of 28mm. It also boasts a large, APS-C-size CMOS image sensor with approximately 16.2 effective megapixels.
