Nauticam has announced an underwater housing for the Sony A7 and A7r full frame mirrorless cameras. Underwater housing solution for Sony A7 and A7r is called the NA-A7 and price is yet unknown.
The housing is rated for 100mt (330 feet) depth and features a rugged housing body milled from solid aluminum which weight as 2.4kg. Nauticam’s NA-A7 housing model for Sony A7 & A7r gives ergonomic access to the mostly used buttons.
The patent pending EVF/LCD switch allows a quick way to alternate between using the large bright LCD display or the high resolution electronic viewfinder (EVF). The housing ships with a standard .66x viewfinder for the EVF, which is easily swapped out for either of the two Nauticam enhanced viewfinders.
