We already mention about Canon is currently working on a new DSLR line. Canon may announce the new, small DSLR next week during their product launch event on March 22. The new camera may be called the Canon EOS 100D.
This digital SLR will smaller than the Canon Rebel DSLRs, and it will support EF and EF-S lenses. Sure it should not have the AF issues of the EOS M. There should be also a new kit zoom lens for this new, extra small DSLR, a kit zoom that is also said to be light-weighted with a small size.
The price of EOS-100D will be comparable to the Rebel line and more expensive than the high end PowerShot cameras. So next week Canon will be announcing two new digital SLR cameras. Because the EOS 70D is widely expected to debut.
