The fully-manual lens is constructed entirely of metal and features both knurled aperture and focus rings (300° focus throw) for physical adjustments. The apochromatic lens, which offers a 50mm full-frame equivalent field of view on Micro Four Thirds camera systems, is constructed of 14 elements in eight groups, including one aspherical element, one extra-low dispersion element and three ultra-high-refractive index elements.
It uses a nine-blade aperture diaphragm, offers an aperture range of F0.95 throguh F11, has a minimum focusing distance of 25cm (9.8”) and uses a 62mm front filter thread.
