Pentax K-1 DSLR is Now Officially Discontinued

Pentax K-1 DSLR camera is now officially discontinued. The rumor mill claims that the Mark II version is on the way.

Ricoh’s first full-frame DSLR model which was announced back in February 2016. The successor to the Pentax K-1 is on the horizon. We expect the Pentax K-1 Mark II DSLR launch event at or prior to the CP+ 2018 Show which will happen in late February.

The Pentax K-1 recently got a price drop at Amazon and currently selling for $1,769.95 in US. More details after the break!

Pentax K-1 DSLR Discontinued

The official Ricoh Czech Republic Facebook page announced that the Pentax K-1 DSLR camera is now officially discontinued:

“Oznamujeme ukončení prodeje úspěšného modelu PENTAX K-1. Poslední kusy je možné ještě objedávat u našich obchodních partnerů, jejich seznam naleznete zde: Kde můžete koupit produkty RICOH – PENTAX”

Translation:

“We announce the end of the sale of the successful PENTAX K-1. The last units can be ordered from our business partners, the list of which can be found here:”
