The Panasonic GH5 comes with a new 20.3 megapixel sensor without a low-pass filter. The video features include 4K internal recording at 10bit 4:2:2 up to 30fps (24 and 25p are also supported), 4K/60p recording, 6K photo capture for approximately 18 megapixel stills images, and a 5-axis Dual I.S. 2 (in-body image stabilization).

The Sony A7SII is a 12.2-megapixel full-frame mirrorless camera with 4K video recording, enhanced auto-focus, an expanded ISO range of 50 up to 409,600 (100-102,400 native) and a silent image capture mode that can be activated for 5fps continuous shooting.

The GH5 is the first mirrorless camera with 4K video at 60/50p. Panasonic adds internal 4:2:2 10-bit image capture for 4K video at up to 30 fps. The best feature of the Panasonic GH5 is its new 6K PHOTO mode. This function doubles the resolution captured, to 18MP, or about 6000 x 3000. The device also increases the frame rate in 4K Photo mode to 60fps.
