Panasonic LX10 becomes official at Photokina 2016

The Panasonic LX10 premium digital compact camera becomes official at Photokina 2016 event.

The enthusiast compact model is the first model to feature a 1-inch-type sensor. 20MP camera features a 24-72mm equivalent, F1.4-2.8 zoom lens and a range of direct controls, as well as a touchscreen interface.

The camera also ‘5-axis Hybrid OIS+’, a system that adds digital stabilization to the camera’s mechanical image stabilization when you’re shooting Full HD video.

The LX10 can shoot 4K UHD at up to 30p and also offers Panasonic’s 4K-based stills features such as 4K Photo, Post Focus and Focus Stacking. The LX10 will be available from November for $699.

Panasonic LX10 premium compact camera officially announced

Panasonic LX10 features a 20.1MP 1-inch-type sensor and powered by a Venus Engine. The sensor is bigger than the one found in the LX7 and smaller than the one found in the LX100. The compact shooter supports 4K Photo mode along with technologies such as Post Focus, Depth from Defocus, and Focus Stacking.

Panasonic LX10 offers a native ISO range between 125 and 12,800. It can be expanded to ranges between 80 and 25,600. The shutter speed stands between 60 seconds and 1/4000th of a second, but there is an electronic shutter mode with a maximum speed of 1/16000th of a second.
