Nikon D3300 Replacement Could Be Unveiled This Year

Nikon is rumored to announce a D3300 replacement model which will possibly called the Nikon D3400.

According to recent gossips, Nikon might show up several new DSLR cameras before or at the Photokina 2016 event in September this year.

Along with the D3300 replacement model, the company could unveil successors to the D610, D750 full-frame models as well as the Nikon D810.

Nikon has announced the D3300 back in January 2014 and Canon has just unveiled the EOS 1300D / Rebel T6. To compete with Canon’s new entry-level DSLR it makes sense that a new Nikon D3400 could be unveiled soon.

The entry-level DSLR features a new 24.2 megapixel CMOS sensor with no optical low-pass filter and an “Expeed 4″ image processor.

There is no detailed specifications or release date of the D3300 replacement camera at the moment. On the other hand there is a strong chance that we might see the Nikon D3400 very soon before the Photokina 2016 event.
