Sony A7000 Announcement Date Scheduled for CP+ 2015

Sony is rumored to announce the NEX-7 replacement camera which will be called the Sony A7000. The high-end E-mount mirrorless camera with an APS-C image sensor expected to be announced at the CP+ Camera & Photo Imaging Show 2015.

According to latest Sony rumors, a new high-end APS-C E-mount camera is on the way and will be positioned above the current A6000. This also means that it is a possible NEX-7 successor camera, which refers to the long-waited A7000.

Even the specs list of the camera is not clear at the moment, rumor mill has previously leaked some details about the Sony A7000. The new camera is said to include high-sensitivity image sensor and new focus system.

Sony A7000 Expected to Arrive in 2015

Sony will replace its flagship E-mount camera with an APS-C sensor. The so-called A7000 mirrorless camera announcement date previously in talks for the CES 2015 event.

The rumor mill now turned its way as one or two new Sony camcorder models are going to be announced at CES in Las Vegas while new cameras and lenses will be announced at CP+ 2015 show in Yokohama.

Sony A7000 Rumored Specifications and Price

Sony is rumored to put the same electronic viewfinder found in the NEX-6 and NEX-7 into the upcoming A7000. The A7000 will also feature  4K video recording, weather sealing, and 1/8000 shutter speed and a new focus system that consists of 246 Phase Detection points as well as 125 Contrast Detection points.

The previously leaked Sony A7000 price is $699 USD for body only and with the  Zeiss 16-70mm f/4 kit lens it will be available for $1,199 USD.

The new Zeiss 16-70mm f/4 ZA OSS weathersealed lens will also be announced by the A7000 mirrorless shooter. The lens is said to be 20% shorter, and sport a wider body.
