Fujifilm Medium Format Mirrorless Camera Coming This Summer

By on

Fujifilm is rumored to be working on a mirrorless camera with a medium format image sensor. The company is expected to announce a new Medium Format mirrorless camera by the end of this Summer.

According to Fujirumors, the upcoming medium format camera will feature hybrid viewfinder and an identical sensor to that of the Pentax 645Z. This means Sony’s 50-megapixel (or higher) CMOS sensor will make its way to Fuji’s MF mirrorless camera too.

This could also mean that the MF camera will capture photos at 51.4 megapixels, a slightly higher resolution than that provided by the same sensor in the Hasselblad H5D-50c and Phase One IQ250 cameras.
