Zeiss FE 55mm f/1.8 Lens To Be Announced Soon

Zeiss FE 55mm f/1.8 lens expected to be announced along with the rumored Zeiss Sonnar T* FE 35mm F2.8 ZA E-mount full frame lens. Sony NEX-FF camera is also rumored to come with three new Zeiss lenses. One of them is unveiled as the Zeiss Sonnar T* FE 35mm F2.8 ZA.

According to trusted sources, there is also Zeiss FE 55mm f/1.8 lens to be announced with the 35mm F2.8 Zeiss lens. There is no specs or price info leaked yet. See the text leaked on Sony Germany few days ago.

The Sonnar T FE 35mm F2.8 ZA is compatible with the range of a 35mm format image sensor. The other lenses are compatible with the range of an APS-C  sized image sensor. A camera equipped with a 35mm format image sensor can be set to shoot at APS-C size. For details on how to set your camera, refer to its instruction manual.
