Sony’s Cheap NEX-FF Camera to Compete Against Canon 6D and Nikon D600

Sony is rumored to announce a cheaper version of full frame NEX camera to compete against Canon and Nikon’s entry-level full frame models. The cheaper Sony NEX-FF camera to be priced around $2000 to compete Canon 6D and Nikon D600 cameras.

Sony is expected to announce two NEX cameras with full frame sensors. Sony NEX-9 will become the company’s first E-mount camera with a full frame sensor on it. SonyNEX-9 announcement expected just before the Photoplus Expo around October 14 or 15. The price of the full frame NEX camera is around $3000.

Sony’s Cheap NEX-FF Camera to Compete Against Canon 6D and Nikon D600

The second NEX-FF camera will be a cheaper model priced around $2,000. This camera is expected to be in the market to compete the entry-level FF cameras Nikon D600 and Canon 6D. Both cameras currently priced around $2000. The D600 is getting serious price drops as the upcoming Nikon D610 is coming on October 7-8.

Sony NEX full frame mirrorless camera system rumored to come with three new Zeiss lenses. The leaked Zeiss lenses are the Zeiss 35mm f/2.8 prime and the Zeiss FE 55mm f/1.8 lens. Zeiss 24-70mm FE full frame E-mount lens is to be announced along with the high-end Sony NEX-FF full frame camera.

Sony NEX-FF announcement may include also the Sony A7 ( ILCE-7) and the rumored Sony RX10 camera.
