Flickr Launches New Design and 1TB Free Storage

Today Yahoo! has announced a major update to Flickr. The photo sharing service has been upgraded with a brand new look and feel. Flickr now offers a beautiful, completely re-imagined experience that puts photos front and center. Flickr is a popular photo sharing service by Yahoo and provides users with free space to upload and share photos.

Along with the new look Flickr now gives 1TB of free storage for all users. New account types also available now. The new accounts available are Free, Ad Free and Doublr accounts.

The ad free account does not feature ads and also the upload limits per photo is more in ad-free account. The Doublr account provides users with 2TB of storage along with all the benefits of a free account.

Flickr has also got a completely new UI with cover photo which looks like all the social sites trend now Google+, Facebook and Twitter. Flickr smartphone app updated, and is now available from the Google Play Store
