Nikon Capture NX-D 1.3.1 for Mac Released with Fixes

By on

Nikon released the new version update for the RAW image processing software Capture NX-D. The version 1.3.1 update for Capture NX-D is available for download through the links below.

The issue happens when the user attempts to change name of a folder saved in root directory (the top-most directory in startup disk’s hierarchy) on a Macintosh running a compatible version of OS X using the folder palette of Capture NX-D, all files (still images, movies, texts, etc.) saved in that folder will be deleted. Files deleted with the above operation will permanently be deleted and cannot be restored. Nikon released Capture NX-D (Mac) Version 1.3.1 with a fix for this issue.

You can see the modifications enabled in this version below.

Changes from Version 1.3.0 to 1.3.1

  • • Renaming folders created in root directory (under startup disk) has been made unable in order to prevent images stored in the folders from being deleted.

Capture NX-D is designed specifically for processing RAW images and offers responsive and intuitive controls. In addition, characteristics such as brightness, contrast, and tone curves of not only RAW images, but also JPEG and TIFF images captured with Nikon digital cameras, can also be adjusted.

Download Capture NX-D V1.3.1 from the Nikon Download Center.
