Sony released a new firmware update for the RX100M4 and RX10 II digital compact cameras.

New firmware update version 1.20 for Sony RX10 II and RX100 IV cameras improve the focus shift condition with HFR (High Frame Rate) recording. See the firmware details and download links.

Sony RX100 IV  ($949 – Amazon | B&H | Adorama) is a digital camera features a 20.1MP 1″-type Exmor RS CMOS sensor, coupled with an attached DRAM memory chip for speedy processing.

Sony RX10 II  ($1,300 – Amazon | B&H | Adorama) features the world’s first 1″-type stacked Exmor RS CMOS sensor and a Zeiss branded 24-200mm (eq.) f/2.8 lens. The camera can record 4K movies using the XAVC S codec, and reduced-resolution slow-motion video at up to 960fps.
