Iridient Developer Version 3.2 Released

By on

Iridient Digital has released Version 3.0.2 of Iridient Developer software.

Iridient Developer is an acclaimed raw image file conversion and photo processing software for Mac OS.

The version 3.0.2 update adds support for the Nikon 1 J5, the Olympus TG-4 and Stylus 1S, the Leica M Monochrom Typ 246, the Canon EOS 760D (Rebel T6s, 8000D), EOS 750D (Rebel T6i, Kiss X8i) and the EOS M3.

Additionally, it includes further improvements to the v3 noise reduction introduced in version 3. Both Luminance and Colour noise reduction adjustments in particular are now much more effective with some forms of noise, especially when strongly increasing shadow brightness and with high ISO images.

The maximum strength of noise reduction has also been increased to give smoother, lower noise output when set to high levels while still retaining good detail and colour fidelity.

This update includes further improvements to the v3 noise reduction introduced in version 3. Both Luminance and Color noise reduction adjustments in particular are now much more effective with some forms of noise, especially when strongly increasing shadow brightness and with high ISO images. The maximum strength of noise reduction has also been increased to give smoother, lower noise output when set to high levels while still retaining good detail and color fidelity. The noise reduction version has now been updated to v3.5.

A number of bugs have been addressed for Canon RAW images including a fix for overcorrection of lens distortion when using RAW metadata based lens correction for Canon APS-C models when using full frame EF lenses, RAW metadata based lens correction for the Canon 5DS and 5DS R models is now supported and an issue with incorrect default white balance when processing Canon multi-exposure RAW images has been addressed.

This release now supports the Samsung NX500 “normal” lossy mode RAW RAW compression in addition to previous support for lossless compressed RAW images from this camera. Spotlight tags are now properly saved when exporting images and support for specifying Spotlight tags has been added to the Batch processing window. A new option to append Spotlight tags as XMP Keyword metadata has also been added.
