From The PhotographyBlog review :

In summary, the Tokina AT-X 12-28mm F4 Pro DX is a genuine alternative to the Canon and Nikon equivalents. It doesn’t offer such a refined handling experience, but the image and especially the build quality are excellent.

From The-Digital-Picture.com review :

Selecting one of the APS-C ultra-wide angle lenses is one of the most challenging decisions of any lens class. There are lots of options with no major standouts. As just mentioned, price is perhaps this lens’ biggest attraction. The Tokina 12-28mm f/4.0 AT-X Pro DX Lens gives you reasonable performance at a reasonable price.

Tokina 12-28mm f/4.0 AT-X Pro lens price is $599.00 and will soon be available for pre-order on camera stores.
