Fujifilm X-E1 Camera Kits Listed as Discontinued

Fujifilm X-E1 mirrorless camera kits are listed as discontinued at B&H Photo Video. Even the body only X-E1 models available on discounted prices, Fuji started to clear their stocks.

Meantime Fujifilm’s X-E2 camera has $150 instant rebate on the camera body and $200 instant rebate on kit started today. Adorama is offering either 4% rewards or a bundle with free accessories.

Fujifilm is clearing their inventory ahead of Photokina 2014 which will happen in September. It looks like new camera and lens announcements are on the way.

The company is rumored to announce a new Fuji X30 camera with 1″ sensor (announcement expected in couple of weeks), and the X-Pro1 replacement.

The updated Fujifilm X-Mount lens roadmap for 2014-2015 includes five new lenses. The new weather sealed travel zoom,  XF 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 R OIS WR lens is the first lens to arrive this week.
