Sony A7s Priced at £2499, Available for Pre-Order in UK

Sony UK authorized dealer Warehouse Express has started taking pre-orders for the new Sony A7S.

According to their listing Sony A7s full-frame mirrorless compact system camera is priced at £2499. This makes the Sony A7S price for US around $3,400.

To compare the prices WEX Photographic sells the Sony A7 for £1235 and the Sony A7R for £1669. This makes the Sony A7s price is double the current A7 model. This is higher than expected for the A7s camera.

Sony A7s Price at £2499, Available for Pre-Order in UK

The new Sony A7S full-frame digital camera with 4K video recording will be available in Summer 2014. Sony has also said it is developing a movie-focused 28-135mm F4 Powerzoom lens.

Sony A7S 4K video recording full frame mirrorless camera designed for both stills and video. The Sony A7S features a new 12.2-megapixel with a 35mm full-frame sensor, 4K movie recording, ISO 50 to 102,400.

The camera can read out its entire sensor fast enough to output 4:2:2 4k video over HDMI at up to 30p, without the need for line skipping or pixel binning.
