Canon is rumored to announce a new fast prime lens on April 24. According to a new teaser posted on Canon Hong Kong facebook page Canon will announce a new fast prime lens this Thursday.

In early 2014 Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L II lens told to be in the hands of selected photographers. The lens has a new type of coating on at least one of the elements. The version that was tested had a 77mm filter thread.
