Canon 7D Mark II, PowerShot SX60 HS and G17 To Be Announced in May

Canon is rumored to make some significant camera announcements in May. Canon announcement is expected to include several PowerShot digital compact cameras as well as a DSLR camera. Two new Canon lenses are in the announcement list too. Details as follows.

A Canon EOS 7D successor camera is in the talks for May announcement. So we will finally see the long rumored Canon 7D Mark II. The DSLR camera has so many different rumors before.

Anyway we all know it will feature an APS-C sensor over 20 megapixels and the Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology presented with the current 70D. See the specs list of the Canon EOS 7D replacement camera posted earlier.

Canon is rumored to announce two new high-end compact cameras. These are the PowerShot G17 digital compact camera which could feature a new 1-inch sensor and Canon PowerShot SX60 HS IS digital compact which could feature a 100x zoom lens covering a whooping 20-2000mm range.

Canon will also make another announcement in August and prepare its new cameras before Photokina 2014 in September.
