By on

Egami has discovered new patents filed by Tamron in Japan. The new patents describes two new Tamron 30mm f/2.8 Macro and Tamron 28mm f/2.5 macro lenses for APS-C cameras.

Tamron currently has the widely popular SP 90MM F/2.8 DI MACRO 1:1 VC USD macro lens in their Di lenses lineup. Both of these lenses has shorter focus lengths 30mm is equivalent to 45mm and 28mm is equivalent to 42mm.  We expect these Tamron macro lenses will be cheaper macro models.
