Pentax K-3 DSLR Camera To Be Announced in October, Specs Leaked

Pentax to announce a new DSLR camera with APS-C sensor. Pentax K-3 DSLR camera expected to be announced in late October and the first set of specs list leaked on the web.

Pentax K-3 previously rumored as a full frame DSLR camera. Along with the K-3 announcement, there will also be a new DA 18-70mm f/2.8 lens announcement too.

  • The K-3 will be announced near end October.
  • 20MP APS-C sensor, possibly made by Sony.
  • No AA filter
  • 100% viewfinder coverage
  • Black body marketed first, followed by a silver version later
  • Price around 120,000 Japanese Yens (US $1,200) for the body-only
  • Announcement by the end of October, on display at the Salon de la Photo show in Paris November 7-11, 2013
  • A new DA 18-70mm f/2.8 lens to be announced a well
