Ricoh GR Camera to be Announced Next Week

Ricoh GR camera is coming soon and expected to be announced next week. The new Ricoh GR will most likely have a APS-C sensor.   The upcoming Ricoh GR compact camera will produce high quality images with a new processor called GR Engine 5.

Ricoh rumors were told the new GR Camera to have 16MP APS-C sensor. This will be the second APS-C sensored camera in the market after Nikon Coolpix A. Below you may find additional specs for the new Ricoh GR compact camera. Announcement expected newxt week.

  • The new Ricoh GR expected to have a new processor called GR Engine 5.
  • Very fast and improved AF and start-up time.
  • No anti-aliasing (AA) filter.
  • High ISO up to 25,600
  • 1080P HD video recording at 30fps with continuous AF (H.264 format).
  • Built-in stereo microphone.
  • The 28mm f/2.8 lens is completely re-designed and will have a 9 blades aperture.
  • Ricoh will also offer a wide-angle conversion lens (GW-3) with a 21mm focal length.
  • Upcoming Ricoh GRcompatible with Eye-Fi memory cards.
  • The US price will be around $800.
  • Ricoh GR to be announced next week. Shipping may start in May, 2013.
